THE UNIVERSITY OF WALES BANGOR
The University of Wales Bangor is situated in the cathedral city of Bangor in an area of outstanding natural beauty between Snowdonia National Park and the sea. It is easily reached by train from Manchester International Airport (2 hours) or London (4 hours).
The university was founded in 1884 and has received excellent awards for teaching and research. Over half the departments have received the top rating of 'excellent' for the quality of teaching.
