Doctor Jo Wells and Professor Lynn Hodgkinson from Bangor University Business School, ranked top in the UK for research in Banking and Finance, will be visiting Vietnam in December 2009 to present workshops on “Smart Investing in 2010”. The workshops will cover:
- The performance of various basic markets (stock markets, fixed income, property, commodities etc) and their performance in 2007-2009
- What the "smart money" is doing
- Portfolio allocation and the benefits (and pitfalls) of diversification and leverage
Bangor is one of the oldest Universities in the UK, celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. Over half the departments have received the top rating of “excellent” for the quality of teaching. It is a favourite University for British students and also welcomes international students.

- Electronic Engineering - Bangor was ranked second in the UK for research in Electronic Engineering in 2008.

Outstanding students can win scholarships of up to GBP 5,000 on their postgraduate fees for courses in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing & Law.
