1. UNIVERSITY SENIOR COLLEGE ADELAIDE
In the top 10% of South Australian schools for its academic performance, USC offers students the chance to progress to top Australian Universities. USC is located on the campus of Adelaide University and students have full use of University facilities during their time there. USC is currently recruiting for October and offers a A$1,000 scholarship to students who can achieve above 80% on their English test (around IELTS 4.5). Students should be at the end of Year 9 or 10 to take the 2 or 3 year South Australian Certificate programme.

2. 50% SCHOLARSHIP
City of Bristol College, a top ten UK FE college, located in the UK's fifth largest city, and with partnerships with top ranked universities Bristol and Bath, plus The University of the West of England (UWE) and Plymouth, has announced a 50% scholarship for a good Vietnamese student applying for A levels, English language, Foundation courses or Foundation degrees in this first year of its operation in Vietnam. On a recent visit to Bristol, Jacky and Nguyen from The Education Company met International Office and Academic staff and had lunch in the Hospitality Training Restaurant, which is located on the main street and is open to the public (see pictures).

3. UK INDEPENDENT BOARDING SCHOOLS
Boarding schools in the UK are becoming more and more popular with Vietnamese students for the safety they offer and for the full social programme included in the fees. Although fees are generally high, Vietnamese (and other Asian) students can get scholarships of up to 50% of total fees , which makes it extremely good value for money given all that is included.

The Education Company has been sending students to UK boarding schools for over 5 years and its students have achieved outstanding results, progressing to Universities susch as Cambridge , the London School of Economics, Warwick, Bath, Nottingham, Birmingham, University College London and others. Most importantly, the students are confident, mature and very secure in their future. The following schools have some scholarship places still available for September 2008, and these may be open to students from countries other than Vietnam as well.
