FORTHCOMING EVENTS

1. LLANDRILLO COLLEGE VISITS HANOI

Ms. Louise Jowett, International Manager for Llandrillo College, will visit our Hanoi office on Friday, July 4th between 3 and 5pm. Students interested in scholarships for A Level, Foundation, HND, Foundation degree or full degree programmes should contact TEC to arrange an interview.

2. 100% SCHOLARSHIP AT THE AMERICAN PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN CHIANG MAI, THAILAND

The American Pacific International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand is promoting its fantastic scholarships for students entering at Grade 9 and continuing until Grade 12. There will be at least one 100% scholarship for four full years of study, including all tuition fees and boarding costs. APIS runs the American High School curriculum with Advanced Placement (this means students can graduate with a qualification that will take them directly into top US Universities or into UK and Australian 3 year degrees. Fees are also very reasonable and APIS also welcomes students into year 11 for the last 2 years of high school.

Ms Kathryn Phillips, Head of Admissions, will hold presentations and interviews as follows:

HCMC: Saturday 12th July, 9.30-11.30 at Bell Vietnam, 16, Ngo Thoi Nhiem, District 3. Tests and interviews Saturday 12th July afternoon and Sunday, 13th 9.00-12.00 noon.

Hanoi: Wednesday, July 16th, 6.30 – 8.30 pm at The Melia Hotel, Ly Thuong Kiet St. Tests and interviews Thursday, July 17th all day.

3. WAKEFIELD COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS 2008-2009

Wakefield College is once again offering its Gold Scholarship of 33% of tuition fees, and a Silver scholarship of 20%. Mr. Tony Rex , head of the Sixth Form Academy, will visit Hanoi on Monday, 14th July and Tuesday 15th July and HCMC on Friday July 18th to interview students interested in A Levels, BTEC National Diploma, Foundation courses, Foundation degrees and English language programmes for September 2008. Please call TEC in Hanoi or HCMC to book a test or an interview.

4. LAST CHANCE FOR ROSSAL A LEVEL SCHOLARSHIP

Rossall School, a leading UK independent boarding school, has a few scholarship places available for Vietnamese students for A Levels in September 2008. The scholarship reduces the fees to £12,000 per year  for tuition and boarding (full fees £22,680). To take advantage of this last minute offer, you should :

· be at least  16 before 31 st August 2008 (end of grade 10 or 11)

· have a GPA of at least 8 from your high school

· have an English level equivalent to at least 5.5 or take an English test

· take a Maths test

Mr. Mike Hamlett, regional marketing manager, will be interviewing students in Hanoi on Thursday July 31 st , 9.00-12.30  and in HCMC on Friday, August 1 st , 9.00-12.30.

Please call TEC to book tests in advance. Offers can only be made when  test results and school transcripts are available.

5. CASTLE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS 2008

Ms Kirstie Crossland, International Marketing Manager, of Castle College will visit Hanoi on Monday, August 11th and HCMC on Thursday, August 14th to interview students for the Castle College scholarships of 40% and 60% of tuition fees for A Levels, BTEC National Diploma, Foundation course, English language and Pre-Masters programmes. Don't forget that all Vietnamese students receive a bursary of 25% automatically on their tuition fees. Call TEC to book a test and/or interview.
