PADWORTH COLLEGE
Padworth College is a mixed, residential, independent college for British and international students aged between 13 and 19. It is characterised by excellent academic results, small classes, individual attention and an informal pre-university atmosphere. It is located in a country house near the university town of Reading and is only 40 minutes from Heathrow Airport . Courses offered: 1 and 2 year GCSEs, A Levels, AVCE, University Foundation and Academic English and preparation courses. Padworth offers excellent facilities, outstanding pastoral care and extensive university advice; students enjoy a wide range of sporting, cultural and leisure activities.
Padworth has been accepting Vietnamese students since 2003. In 2005, the first 2 A level students achieved outstanding results- Vo Quynh Anh and Dao Tu Anh both achieved Maths results that were in the top 10 in the whole of the UK . In 2006, Do Phuong Nga progressed to Cambridge University and her classmates to other top Universities . Padworth College currently has 7 Vietnamese students aged from 13 to 17 and each year the College offers scholarships of up to 50% of total fees to outstanding students fom Vietnam .
