Ashbourne college
Ashbourne was founded 20 years ago and has established itself as one of the leaders in pre-university education in the UK. Wonderfully situated in Central London near Kensington Gardens, Ashbourne is a few minutes away from the Albert Hall, the Imperial College of Science and many excellent museums.
Restricting its class sizes to a maximum of ten reflects the importance placed on individual attention, communication and feedback. Relations with staff are personable and informal but stress discipline, independence and self-reliance. The college is passionate about performance and opens on Saturdays to supervise students who want and need to work.
Embracing the traditional and modern, the wide-ranging A level and GCSE curriculum includes an excellent programme for Media, including, Music, Drama, Film, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Fashion, and Photography. There is also a highly successful Medical School Entrance Programme, overseen by Professor John Foreman, FRCP, Dean of Students and Professor of Pharmacology at University College London.
The student body is culturally very mixed with many international scholars, including a number of Vietnamese. All are ambitious but enjoy a wide range of cultural, sporting and other social opportunities. They are encouraged and supported by Ashbourne's belief that high expectations are the key to academic achievement.
We offer generous scholarships to bright Vietnamese scholars.
