INTRODUCTION TO THE EDUCATION COMPANY
The Education Company (TEC) was founded in 2002 by Jacky Dyer and Nguyen Thi Nhu Nguyen, both professional educators for over 20 years. Originally specialising only in the UK, TEC has now expanded its operations to collaborate with institutions in the USA, Australia and France and with UK programmes in Thailand. TEC now offers a very wide range of high quality programmes for students of all ages and all levels. Many of TEC's partners also offer generous scholarships.

OUR COUNSELLING STAFF
TEC's counsellors are all university graduates, many with higher degrees, fully trained and with a wealth of combined experience in giving support to students and parents of students wishing to study overseas.
DIRECTOR (based in HANOI ) : Nguyen Thi Nhu Nguyen PhD
 Nguyen is Senior Lecturer at the Hanoi University of Foreign Studies and has over 20 years' experience in education. She is a British Council qualified UK counsellor, and has been visiting the UK regularly for 11 years. She is responsible for parent and school liaison, counselling and translation.

SENIOR CONSULTANT (based in HCMC): Jacky Dyer MA MEd
 Jacky has been in Vietnam for over 12 years as a teacher, trainer and consultant. She has worked for the British Council, and on many international training projects. She has an MA in TEFL from Reading University and an MEd in Educational Management from the University of Leicester, UK. Jacky is responsible for UK placements in the south of Vietnam, education partner management, training links, marketing and publications.

SENIOR UK COUNSELLOR, HANOI : Nguyen Thi Thu Huong
 Huong is a fully qualified UK Counsellor with experience of visiting TEC partner institutions in the UK . She has also spent a year in South America and has wide experience of travelling and living abroad as well as of customer service management. Huong is responsible for all study enquiries and placements in the north of Vietnam , and for the UK Alumni network.

EDUCATION COUNSELLOR ( HANOI ): Tran Hoan Chau
 Chau joined TEC from a background in administration and marketing for several other educational organisations. Her main area of responsibility is school level programmes in the UK , Australia and the US , and she is TEC's liaison officer in the north of Vietnam for links with schools and for scholarships.

EDUCATION COUNSELLOR AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (HCMC): Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga
 Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga graduated from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Oriental Studies, and speaks English and Mandarin. She has experience working in Customer Services. She is the main local Education Counsellor in HCMC and responsible for schools and parent liaison.

IT MANAGER (Ha Noi): Nguyen Hong Thai ME
Thai has many years experience working in telecommunication industry. He manages TEC's computers and networks and has also designed and built the website. In addition to computer technology he is responsible for maintaining all electrical equipment.

ACTIVITIES
Every year, TEC runs a UK Schools Fair, a UK Universities Fair , presentations for visiting institutions from the UK , Australia , The USA, Malaysia and Thailand .
TEC holds parents' dinners with school heads which gives parents of children studying in the UK the opportunity to meet their child's principal and discuss their progress.
TEC runs scholarship tests for schools and colleges it works with, sometimes in its offices and sometimes in the schools.
TEC can organise study tours to the UK for professional groups, summer courses for individuals or groups in the UK , the USA , Thailand or Australia , visits for family of students overseas and trips to the UK , Thailand and Australia to view schools.
TEC can also organise Teacher Exchanges to the UK for one to 3 months in schools or colleges.
