MOIRA HOUSE GIRLS' SCHOOL
Moira House Girls' School is located in Eastbourne, on the fashionable south coast of England , around 1 hour from London and major airports.
All pupils are treated as individuals and given the encouragement and self-confidence to fulfil their potential. The result is a school that is an all round centre of excellence. In 2005, the A level pass rate was 98%, with 65% of A and B grades and 9 students achieving at least 3 grade As. Students progressed to Oxford, Cambridge, the University of London, Warwick and other top Universities .
Moira House currently has 4 Vietnamese students, 1 from HCMC and 3 from Hanoi , aged from 15-17.
The ISI Inspection report in 2004 noted that the school's strengths lay in "very high attainment in relation to pupils' abilities, good pastoral care and guidance, very good activities promoting pupils' moral, social and cultural development". Music was noted as a particularly strong subject.
