ADCOTE SCHOOL FOR GIRLS

Adcote is one of the top 50 non-selective independent schools in the country. It is a school for boarders and day girls who live and work together in a beautiful country mansion near the city of Shrewsbury , about 1 hour from Birmingham . Great emphasis is laid on good teaching and good learning, and our pupils meet and exceed their academic expectations at all levels of ability, including the highest.

Extra support with English is given to overseas pupils to help girls gain the confidence and skills they need to study effectively and gain maximum benefit from education at an English school. Boarders live in the mansion itself, where the rooms are spacious and attractive. In addition to personal tutors, boarders are looked after by the resident Housemistress and her staff. The boarding team is responsible for every boarder's personal welfare, development and happiness.

Adcote School now has an International Study Centre where girls can study English and other subjects before joining GCSE or A levels.
